It literally called itself an "Income Opportunity Retreat" on the listing.

I am not making that up.

Now. I'm a professional REALTOR®. I hold a CIPS designation. I represent Costa Rica Livin' — one of the most respected brokerages in my imaginary world! I wear collared shirts AT LEAST twice a week.

But when I read this listing... even I had to put my briefcase down.

Let me paint you a picture.

6 rooms. ALL with en-suite bathrooms. (Because what happens in the rancho STAYS in the rancho.)

Private seating area outside EVERY room. (For, uh... "fresh air.")

This place is tucked away in one of the quietest, most off-the-beaten-path corners of Guanacaste — far from the Nosara yoga crowd, far from the Tamarindo spring breakers, far from anyone who might… recognize you.

"Intimate" doesn't begin to cover it.

Now — the listing says this is currently operating as a surf and nature lodge. And that's wonderful. Truly. Pura vida.

But I've been in Costa Rica real estate for over 12 years. I know a property with "untapped potential" when I see one.

And I'm just going to leave this right here:

There is NO couples resort on this stretch of the Guanacaste coast. None. Zero. Nada.

The rancho awaits. The pool is warm. The jungle is loud enough that the neighbours can't hear a thing.
